At the present time, there will always be a place for abstract art. Each work is unique for that individual. It can not be reproduced exactly the same by someone else and has a special feeling. I admire an artist who can realistically paint a bowl of fruit but if that's all you want, buy a camera.

I didn't know you had such a fantastic blog. The best of you comes out in it and it is incredibly informative and creatively done. Blue Rhapsody is an incredible painting. I went to a Christmas party at Chelsea Mansion mainly to give my former teacher from Art Studios a present! The artist world gets to be small...kudos, Karen, excellent work with the blog and with your art. You really show who you are.

While we are not art critics, We appreciate your creativity, love of color, and emotions displayed in the paintings. Sadly, your fine parents are not here to 'shep nachos'.
